By tracking naturally occurring cosmic muons, researchers can detect hidden chambers, tunnels, or structural weaknesses that would otherwise remain unknown. This helps preserve fragile sites while revealing new information about how ancient structures were built. Overall, it combines physics and archaeology to unlock discoveries that were previously impossible or too risky to pursue.Â
